Working through a client's systems

Three storefronts, one ERP, one 3PL, no re-keying

August 17, 2026

A note before we start: clients are named on this site only with their sign-off, the same care your name would get. This case is anonymised and real. Happy to walk through the detail on a call.

The setup

A consumer-goods group in Canterbury running multiple brands, each with its own Shopify storefront, with finance and stock in Dynamics 365 Business Central and fulfilment at a 3PL. The finance-led operator behind it wanted what every finance-led operator wants: orders that arrive in the ERP untouched by hands, stock numbers that can be trusted, and a month-end that reconciles without spreadsheet archaeology.

What we built

We connected the storefronts to Business Central and Business Central to the 3PL, so orders, stock, and fulfilment updates flow through without anyone re-keying them. The integrations run as code the group owns, inside the secure boundary we operate, with Kori, our AI Integration Support Engineer, watching the flows and reporting in the shared chat.

The lesson that became policy

One more thing this client taught us: they had lived through integrations that depended on one person, and what that costs when the person moves on. It’s a big part of why everything we deliver comes with documented runbooks and code the client owns. That lesson is now company policy.

Sound familiar?

If your setup rhymes with this one (storefronts, an ERP, a warehouse or 3PL, and gaps between them), the free assessment is the easy first step. An hour on your systems, no cost, no pitch.
